The Travel Industry Association of America's 39th Annual International Pow Wow trade show was held in Anaheim for the first time in the show's history from April 21-25, 2007. The event drew nearly 5,000 travel industry professionals from around the world and also included 300 members of the international media.

The event included tours and events to highlight all that Anaheim and Orange County have to offer visitors including day trips to the beach, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, South Coast Plaza and many more. Pow Wow ended at the Anaheim Convention Center in the new Arena Courtyard for a night under the stars in “Club Anaheim/OC”. Attendants enjoyed interactive booths from many of Southern California's premier destinations and attractions, while music provided by KC & The Sunshine Band got them in the mood to dance. According to the Anaheim Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Pow Wow trade show is expected to generate more than $350 million in future revenue for local businesses.
